What is in for weddings in 2018
As 2017 wedding season is coming to an end, we are now looking forward to the new trends of 2018. Here are some ideas of what awaits us in the new year.
Designers are coming up with colored dresses and white with hints of black. You will see more pearls, crystals and lace. Longer trains and extreme veils as well as caplets and capes.

The millennials are more minimalist than previous generations, so you will find that weddings are going to be much smaller and intimate. We will see a lot more back yard and small venue weddings; guests seated at long tables and served family style meals.
Flowers and centerpieces
Centerpieces and bouquets are going to be filled with a lot of foliage and a few flowers to add color.
Metals still seem to be in for next year; lots of gold, silver, copper and rose gold. We also see more vibrant colors than in past years.
There are big changes in the cakes. We will see nearly naked cakes, cakes with marble and metallic. Also, many couples are not choosing to have cakes, but a dessert bar instead.
Hair and Makeup
We will see more braids, long loose curls and lots of jewels and head pieces in the hair. Brides will continue to have eyelash extensions as well as very natural looking makeup.
Enchanting forests, woodlands and garden themes seem to be the most popular with couples. The natural, calm and environmental friendly looks are in. Rustic and vintage weddings are also going to remain popular.
