Nigerian Wedding in Calgary

Good morning,

I first met Dami, her sister and her mother last April and I was thrilled to be hired to coordinate my first Nigerian wedding. What an amazing experience! There were over 400 guests invited to the ceremony, which was held at the Southview Alliance Church. A small band played and sung songs with passion and rhythm. It was very uplifting.

Many of their photos were taken on the Red Deer Lake Community property.

The reception was then held at the Red Deer Lake Community Center. It was a tight squeeze but everyone ate delicious Nigerian traditional food and then danced to lively upbeat music.

Half way through the evening, Dami and Peter changed into their traditional Nigerian outfits and danced the night away.

Lovely ladies dancing

Everyone partied late into the night and a good time was held by all. The Nigerian ladies sure know how to dance! Thank you Dami and Peter for letting me be part of your fantastic day!
